Position Overview:

Diamondview Photography is seeking a warm, organized, and sales-savvy individual to join our team as a Sales Assistant. This primarily remote role focuses on managing new client inquiries, conducting discovery phone calls, and guiding prospective clients through the booking process with empathy and professionalism. You’ll be the first point of contact for many of our clients, helping them feel heard, supported, and excited to work with us.

While the majority of the role is remote and administrative, there may be occasional opportunities to assist in-studio during portrait sessions — particularly with newborns, young children, and their families. A calm, nurturing presence and comfort in a baby- and child-friendly environment are essential for this aspect of the position.

This is a key role in shaping the client experience at our luxury portrait studio, where connection, care, and attention to detail are at the heart of everything we do.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct discovery phone calls with potential clients.
  • Follow a phone script to maintain consistency in communication.
  • Present and explain our photography services and pricing effectively, highlighting the unique value we offer.
  • Book clients for photography sessions.
  • Take detailed notes and update our CRM system promptly and accurately.
  • Handle administrative tasks such as email management and scheduling.
  • Schedule social media posts.

Requirements:

  • Experience in telephone sales and customer service.
  • Excellent verbal communication in English.
  • Empathetic listening skills.
  • Proficiency with computer administrative tasks.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage time effectively.
  • High level of professionalism, reliability, and detail oriented.
  • Must have own computer or laptop, phone, and reliable internet service.
  • Basic understanding of photography and portrait services an asset, but not required.
