Recognized Professional Work
STRENGTHEN
YOUR NEWBORN
PHOTOGRAPHY SKILLS
Newborn photography is both incredibly rewarding and highly specialized. Creating beautiful newborn portraits requires far more than simply posing a baby — it takes patience, technical skill, safety awareness, and the ability to create a calm and comfortable experience for both baby and parents.
During your newborn mentoring session, we will photograph a full newborn session from start to finish inside a professional Ottawa studio environment. Along the way, we will cover newborn workflow, client preparation, soothing and posing techniques, lighting, safety considerations, and post-processing including culling and editing. Mentorship sessions are designed to provide photographers with real-world insight, hands-on learning, and the confidence to strengthen both their technical and creative skills.

Perfect for photographers who want to gain insight into newborn workflow and posing in a relaxed, observational learning environment.
During this mentoring session, you will observe a real newborn session from start to finish while learning about workflow, soothing techniques, posing transitions, lighting, client interaction, and safety considerations. This option is ideal for photographers who are newer to newborn photography, feeling overwhelmed by hands-on posing, or looking to build confidence before working directly with babies themselves.
