Besides all of the Newborn Babies that graced my studio in 2017, I also had the pleasure of working with many wonderful families, children and babies over the past twelve months. I look back at each and every family that joined me at the studio, and sometimes also at a beautiful outdoor location, and I can’t help but be reminded at just how lucky I am. Eight years ago I never imagined that I would be living my dream of operating my own business. I truly owe it to each and every family; you have blessed me to where words cannot describe, and you have all taught me something new.

As I think back to all of the child and family sessions I photographed in 2017, whether it was outdoors in the sub zero temperatures of our Nation’s Capital, in the studio with sweet-smelling birthday cake, in the pink spring blossoms, in the heat of the summer sunset, with the golden light and fall foliage, or with the smiling young faces at our limited edition Christmas sessions… one thing is for certain, we made memories together. I am grateful to be a part of everyone’s milestones and to create timeless portraits that you’ll look back on in several years and reminisce about just how cute your children were at this age or about the bond that your family shares.

I have so many new ideas for 2018 and I can’t wait to get started. Thank you again for choosing ME, and I wish you a Happy New Year!
