Lack of consultation with Professional Photographers of Canada leads to confusion amongst Photographers.

Thank you to the Professional Photographers of Canada (PPOC) for their continuing support to clarify the regulations around Photography Studios and Services with the Ontario Government. A press release was issued to media contacts yesterday. PPOC is advocating for proper legislation while educating that all photographers can work safely regardless of the type of session.

On Friday, May 21, 2021 the Ontario Government website published the directives for Photography studios and services on the Roadmap to Reopening – Photography studios and services may reopen in Step 2 with restrictions. Based on the timeline set out by the Ontario Government, an estimated start date for Step 2 is July 5, 2021 at the very earliest.
